Description

Growkit Instructions:

Step 1

Unbox the Block: Open your grow kit box to reveal the 2.5 kg plastic-wrapped substrate block (approx. 12.5 x 30 x 20 cm), ready to fruit.

Step 2

Make the Cut: Using a clean, sharp knife, cut an “X” shape (about 5 cm wide) directly into the side of the plastic wrap. Keep the rest of the plastic intact to lock in moisture.

Step 3

The Initial Mist: Fill a spray bottle with fresh tap water and generously mist the “X” cut to awaken the mycelium and trigger fruiting.

Step 4

Set the Temperature: Place the kit in a well-ventilated area that gets plenty of indirect sunlight. Mini Oysters do best in a comfortable, stable room temperature between 18°C and 22°C.

Step 5

Mist Daily: Spray the “X” opening 2 to 3 times a day. Consistent surface moisture is key to supporting their rapid growth.

Step 6

Watch for Pins: Keep a close eye on the cut. Within a few days, you will notice tightly packed clusters of tiny, miniature pins emerging.

Step 7

Time the Harvest: Because they are a dwarf variety, they will reach maturity quickly. They are ready to harvest when the delicate little caps are fully open and unfurled, but before the edges curl upward.

Step 8

Twist and Pull: Gently grasp the entire cluster of mini mushrooms right at the base, twist, and pull them clean off the block. Keep misting the opening to encourage another flush!
